“Short” Day
So I got to leave work at 11:30 today to meet the plumber about changing out our hose bib. Unfortunately, 11:30 was already 6 hours into my work day. Mica is working a different shift all week, so I got to get up and go in to work without her. She barely remembers me kissing her goodbye this morning.
So the plumber came, looked at the inside of the hose bib (which is in our basement ceiling) and exclaimed “Oooh, this ain’t gonna be cheap!”
The faucet is in a very inconvenient place, made even worse by the way that the post-construction finished basement was framed. So it’s going to run about $250 to get a new hose bib installed. At least the basement has almost completely dried.
