TGIF

Yeah, that’s an original title.

So my parents made it into town yesterday afternoon and they brought the rain with them. After a fairly long drought, we’re finally getting some much needed rain. The hydrangea is a bit happier now.

We went down to Zia’s for dinner last night. That’s one of my favorite restaurants in the world, although getting Italian food on the hill is almost guaranteed to be excellent. But Zia’s always has the best vitello (veal) and their salad dressing is awesome.

When we got back home, we let the pups out to run. Poppy cut her paw running and bled all over the deck. I got the bleeding stopped and her foot bandaged without a whimper from her but late last night, she suddenly started feeling it. She was gnawing at the bandage early this morning and let out a huge bark. She ran over to my side of the bed just trembling. I tried to get her to lay back down in her bed, but she was shaking and would back herself out of the bedroom and into the master bathroom. I never could get her to lay back down on her bed. I shut the bathroom door once I got her back into the bedroom and she layed between her bed and the door. She wasn’t acting too playful today, poor baby. Once I get home, I’m going to give her some Tylenol and we’ll see how she feels.

I’m leaving work in a bit to meet my parents at St. Louis Mills. I’m leaving them for a bit tonight for karate. I’m a few weeks from testing for my blue belt and can’t afford to miss class tonight.
