Short Updates
Dish: Satellite dish is installed, no big problems so far. I do think that DirecTV has a better system and easier to use receiver, but we’ll make due with this. We are getting a better deal and they were able to get our bedroom hooked up, so I’m happy. Nothing wrong with the new system, it’s just not as polished as DirecTV.
Weekend: Played Frisbee Saturday evening. That was great fun. We need a few more people to really get the game going, but everyone had fun anyways. Always a good thing when they want to play again. Took the dogs to the rescue’s group’s annual reunion. Got to see the rep that helped us get Macy, as well as Poppy’s foster-family from when she was first taken off the track. Lots of cute puppies there too. Also took Mica to the Spaghetti Factory for dinner. Yum.
Cruise: Convinced more friends to join us on the cruise next November. Also had to have our room moved around. The travel agent put us in between my parents and Mica’s. This isn’t a good idea. I told her to move us next to our friends.
Karate: The swelling is going down nicely, thanks.
